This policy explains how Heba Abu Skhail ("I", "me") handles personal data when you visit this website or work with me. I work with clients worldwide and aim to apply the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as collecting only what is needed and respecting your rights, for all clients.
What I collect
- Information you send me: your name, email address, company and project details when you contact me by email or video call.
- Billing information: name, email and payment details needed to issue and receive PayPal invoices. Card details are handled by PayPal and are never seen or stored by me.
- Website: this website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts. Your browser may load fonts from Google Fonts, and the hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
How I use it
I use your information only to reply to your enquiry, deliver the services you request, issue invoices and meet legal and accounting obligations. I never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Sharing
Your data is shared only with services needed to work together, such as PayPal (payments), Hostinger (website hosting and the private, password-protected system where I keep order records), email providers and video-call tools, or when required by law.
Retention
How long I keep data depends on the type of data and on legal requirements:
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted once they are no longer needed to reply to you.
- Project communication and order records, such as the agreed scope, timeline and deliverables, are kept during the engagement and afterwards for as long as reasonably needed for support or to resolve disputes.
- Invoices and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
When data is no longer needed, I delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing heba236ah@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days.
